Approaches to Learning
With a variety of study plans and different tutors, we will help you learn at your own pace.
With ABE (Adult Basic Education) we teach you the essentials.
Adult Basic Education (ABE) is designed for the adult learner who wants to strengthen basic reading, writing, math, computer, or life skills. Students will be matched individually with volunteer tutors, and meeting times are flexible.
We will help you through your Citizenship Exam
U.S. Citizenship preparation is offered in small groups or one-on-one. Learners use resources provided by US Customs and Immigration Services to prepare for the naturalization process.
English as a Second Language (ESL)
English as a Second Language (ESL) is offered in small groups or one-on-one. Adults may attend Beginning, Intermediate, or Advanced ESL sessions taught by volunteer tutors.
